Em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao milho segunda safra, o Estado ocupa a 4\u00aa posi\u00e7\u00e3o no ranking nacional, sendo respons\u00e1vel por cerca de 8,1% da produ\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apesar da relev\u00e2ncia da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de soja e milho no cen\u00e1rio nacional, a infraestrutura log\u00edstica ainda representa um dos principais desafios para o escoamento da produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola em Mato Grosso do Sul. Conforme an\u00e1lise apresentada pela Aprosoja\/MS, o custo do frete pode representar at\u00e9 60% do valor do milho e at\u00e9 25% do valor da soja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atualmente, o Estado escoa cerca de 80% da produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola por rodovias, 2% por ferrovias e o restante por hidrovias. De acordo com estudo elaborado por economistas da Aprosoja\/MS, essa concentra\u00e7\u00e3o no modal rodovi\u00e1rio eleva os custos log\u00edsticos, aumenta a demanda sobre a malha vi\u00e1ria e reduz a competitividade da produ\u00e7\u00e3o sul-mato-grossense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A an\u00e1lise tamb\u00e9m indica que os modais ferrovi\u00e1rio e hidrovi\u00e1rio apresentam vantagens estruturais em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao modal rodovi\u00e1rio. Entretanto, a competitividade desses modais depende de fatores como a infraestrutura dispon\u00edvel, o est\u00e1gio de desenvolvimento da malha log\u00edstica, o processo de devolu\u00e7\u00e3o de concess\u00f5es e o n\u00edvel de concorr\u00eancia entre os diferentes modais de transporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Com investimentos estimados em R$ 50 bilh\u00f5es at\u00e9 2035, est\u00e3o previstas a duplica\u00e7\u00e3o e as melhorias da BR-163, a implanta\u00e7\u00e3o da Nova Ferroeste, ligando Maracaju (MS) ao Paran\u00e1, a concess\u00e3o da Hidrovia do Rio Paraguai e os projetos associados \u00e0 Rota Bioce\u00e2nica.
