Associada, no imagin\u00e1rio popular, a necropsias e mortes violentas, a per\u00edcia m\u00e9dico-legal tamb\u00e9m atua no atendimento de pessoas vivas em Mato Grosso do Sul. O trabalho dos peritos m\u00e9dico-legistas da Pol\u00edcia Cient\u00edfica alcan\u00e7a casos de les\u00e3o corporal, viol\u00eancia dom\u00e9stica, crimes sexuais e exames em custodiados, com produ\u00e7\u00e3o de laudos que subsidiam investiga\u00e7\u00f5es, medidas de prote\u00e7\u00e3o e decis\u00f5es judiciais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais do que registrar tecnicamente uma ocorr\u00eancia, a per\u00edcia m\u00e9dico-legal ajuda a materializar vest\u00edgios e a qualificar a resposta do Estado em situa\u00e7\u00f5es em que a prova t\u00e9cnica pode ser decisiva para o esclarecimento dos fatos e a garantia de direitos.<\/p>\n\n\n

No Estado, esses profissionais atuam nas 14 URPIs (Unidades Regionais de Per\u00edcia e Identifica\u00e7\u00e3o), com atendimento aos munic\u00edpios do interior. Em Campo Grande, os exames s\u00e3o realizados no IMOL (Instituto de Medicina e Odontologia Legal) e em se\u00e7\u00f5es especializadas, como as instaladas na Casa da Mulher Brasileira, no plant\u00e3o da DPCA (Delegacia de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Crian\u00e7a e ao Adolescente), na Depac (Delegacia de Pronto Atendimento Comunit\u00e1rio) Cepol e no F\u00f3rum Heitor Medeiros, onde s\u00e3o feitos exames cautelares que antecedem as audi\u00eancias de cust\u00f3dia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para exercer a fun\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio ter gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Medicina, com diploma reconhecido pelo MEC (Minist\u00e9rio da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o), e aprova\u00e7\u00e3o em todas as etapas do concurso p\u00fablico. A forma\u00e7\u00e3o espec\u00edfica para a atividade pericial ocorre na Academia de Pol\u00edcia, etapa final do processo seletivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
