As declara\u00e7\u00f5es foram dadas durante o Encontro Econ\u00f4mico Brasil-Alemanha, em Han\u00f4ver.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1686670&amp;o=node\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1686670&amp;o=node\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u201cNosso etanol, de cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar, produz mais energia por hectare plantado, tem uma das menores pegadas de carbono do mundo e reduz emiss\u00f5es de at\u00e9 90% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 gasolina\u201d, disse, ao citar que a UE espera chegar a 50% de renov\u00e1veis em sua matriz at\u00e9 2050 enquanto o Brasil j\u00e1 cumpriu essa meta em 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Em sua fala, Lula destacou que o transporte figura atualmente como um dos principais gargalos de descarboniza\u00e7\u00e3o da Europa. \u201cApesar disso, a Uni\u00e3o Europeia est\u00e1 revisando o seu regulamento sobre biocombust\u00edveis. Est\u00e3o na mesa propostas que ignoram pr\u00e1ticas de sustentabilidade no uso do solo brasileiro\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>O presidente lembrou que, em janeiro, entrou em vigor um \u201cmecanismo unilateral\u201d de c\u00e1lculo de carbono que desconsidera o baixo n\u00edvel de emiss\u00f5es do processo produtivo brasileiro baseado em fontes renov\u00e1veis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cEssas iniciativas podem dificultar a oferta de energia limpa ao consumidor europeu em momento cr\u00edtico. A eleva\u00e7\u00e3o de padr\u00f5es ambientais \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria, mas n\u00e3o \u00e9 correta. Adotar crit\u00e9rios que ignorem outras realidades e prejudicam os produtores brasileiros\u201d, completou.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cEstamos dispostos a deixar de ser um pa\u00eds em vias de desenvolvimento e queremos nos tornar um pa\u00eds desenvolvido. E n\u00e3o jogaremos fora as oportunidades da transi\u00e7\u00e3o energ\u00e9tica que est\u00e3o colocadas para o mundo.
