O presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva afirmou, nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (5), que a deten\u00e7\u00e3o do ativista brasileiro Thiago \u00c1vila<\/a> em Israel \u00e9 injustific\u00e1vel. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No dia 30 de abril, ele foi preso a bordo da Flotilha Global Sumud, com destino \u00e0 Faixa de Gaza, que foi interceptada pelas for\u00e7as israelenses em \u00e1guas internacionais perto da Gr\u00e9cia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al\u00e9m de \u00c1vila, o ativista espanhol Saif Abu Keshek tamb\u00e9m foi detido e levado para Israel, enquanto mais de 100 outros ativistas<\/a> pr\u00f3-palestinos, a bordo de cerca de 20 barcos, foram levados para a ilha grega de Creta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para Lula, manter a pris\u00e3o deThiago \u00c1vila \u00e9 uma a\u00e7\u00e3o injustific\u00e1vel do governo de Israel que causa grande preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o e deve ser condenada por todos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A deten\u00e7\u00e3o dos ativistas da flotilha em \u00e1guas internacionais j\u00e1 havia representado uma s\u00e9ria afronta ao direito internacional\u201d, escreveu Lula em publica\u00e7\u00e3o nas redes sociais.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPor isso, nosso governo, juntamente com o da Espanha, que tamb\u00e9m teve um cidad\u00e3o detido, exige que eles recebam plena garantia de seguran\u00e7a e sejam imediatamente soltos\u201d, acrescentou o presidente.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pris\u00e3o preventiva de \u00c1vila e de Abu Keshek havia sido prorrogada at\u00e9 esta ter\u00e7a-feira<\/a>, por\u00e9m houve uma nova prorroga\u00e7\u00e3o para domingo<\/a> (10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os ativistas faziam parte de uma segunda flotilha da Global Sumud, lan\u00e7ada em uma tentativa de romper o bloqueio israelense a Gaza por meio da entrega de assist\u00eancia humanit\u00e1ria. Os navios haviam zarpado de Barcelona em 12 de abril.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As autoridades israelenses justificaram a pris\u00e3o por suspeita de crimes que incluem assist\u00eancia ao inimigo em tempo de guerra, contato com um agente estrangeiro, associa\u00e7\u00e3o e presta\u00e7\u00e3o de servi\u00e7os a uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o terrorista e transfer\u00eancia de propriedade para uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o terrorista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
