As vendas de t\u00edtulos p\u00fablicos a pessoas f\u00edsicas pela internet bateram recorde para meses de abril, divulgou nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (26) o Tesouro Nacional. No m\u00eas passado, o Tesouro Direto vendeu R$ 8,55 bilh\u00f5es em pap\u00e9is.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O valor \u00e9 42,2% menor que em mar\u00e7o, quando as vendas do Tesouro Direto somaram R$ 14,79 bilh\u00f5es e bateram recorde hist\u00f3rico para todos os meses<\/a>. Na compara\u00e7\u00e3o com abril do ano passado, por\u00e9m, o volume \u00e9 20,6% maior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em mar\u00e7o, venceram R$ 7,07 bilh\u00f5es em t\u00edtulos corrigidos pela Selic, juros b\u00e1sicos da economia, com os investidores trocando os pap\u00e9is pelo mesmo tipo de t\u00edtulos. Como o vencimento n\u00e3o se repetiu em abril, as vendas ca\u00edram em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao m\u00eas anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os t\u00edtulos mais procurados pelos investidores em mar\u00e7o foram os vinculados aos juros b\u00e1sicos, cuja participa\u00e7\u00e3o nas vendas somou 55,4%. Os pap\u00e9is corrigidos pela infla\u00e7\u00e3o (\u00cdndice Nacional de Pre\u00e7os ao Consumidor Amplo \u2013 IPCA), corresponderam a 24% do total, enquanto os prefixados, com juros definidos no momento da emiss\u00e3o, totalizaram 13,1%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Destinados ao financiamento de aposentadorias, o Tesouro Renda+, lan\u00e7ado no in\u00edcio de 2023, respondeu por 4,9% das vendas. Criado em agosto de 2023, o novo t\u00edtulo Tesouro Educa+, que pretende financiar uma poupan\u00e7a para o ensino superior, atraiu apenas 1,9% das vendas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O interesse por pap\u00e9is vinculados aos juros b\u00e1sicos \u00e9 justificado pelo alto n\u00edvel da Taxa Selic. A taxa, que estava em 10,5% ao ano at\u00e9 setembro de 2024, est\u00e1 em 14,5% ao ano.<\/strong> Com os juros altos, os pap\u00e9is continuam atrativos. Os t\u00edtulos vinculados \u00e0 infla\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m t\u00eam atra\u00eddo os investidores por causa da expectativa de alta da infla\u00e7\u00e3o oficial nos pr\u00f3ximos meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O estoque total do Tesouro Direto alcan\u00e7ou R$ 242,26 bilh\u00f5es no fim de abril, alta de 3,34% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao m\u00eas anterior (R$ 234,42 bilh\u00f5es) e alta de 41,99% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a abril do ano passado (R$ 170,86 bilh\u00f5es). <\/strong>Essa alta ocorreu por causa da corre\u00e7\u00e3o pelos juros e porque as vendas superaram os resgates em R$ 5,16 bilh\u00f5es no \u00faltimo m\u00eas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investidores<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao n\u00famero de investidores,  226.677 participantes passaram a fazer parte do programa no m\u00eas passado. O n\u00famero total de investidores atingiu 35.324.665. Nos \u00faltimos 12 meses, o n\u00famero de investidores acumula alta de 9,69%. O total de investidores ativos (com opera\u00e7\u00f5es em aberto) chegou a 3.472.053, aumento de 16,36% em 12 meses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do Tesouro Direto por pequenos investidores pode ser observada pelo consider\u00e1vel n\u00famero de vendas de at\u00e9 R$ 5 mil, que correspondeu a 78% do total de 938.747
opera\u00e7\u00f5es de vendas ocorridas em abril. S\u00f3 as aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de at\u00e9 R$ 1 mil representaram 55%. O valor m\u00e9dio por opera\u00e7\u00e3o atingiu R$ 12.083,06.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os investidores est\u00e3o preferindo pap\u00e9is de curto prazo. As vendas de t\u00edtulos de at\u00e9 cinco anos representam 62,6% do total. As opera\u00e7\u00f5es com prazo entre cinco e dez anos correspondem a 19,1% do total. Os pap\u00e9is de mais de dez anos de prazo representaram 18,3% das vendas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Tesouro Direto foi criado em janeiro de 2002 para popularizar esse tipo de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o e permitir que pessoas f\u00edsicas pudessem adquirir t\u00edtulos p\u00fablicos diretamente do Tesouro Nacional, via internet, sem intermedia\u00e7\u00e3o de agentes financeiros. O aplicador s\u00f3 precisa pagar uma taxa para a B3, a bolsa de valores brasileira, descontada nas movimenta\u00e7\u00f5es dos t\u00edtulos. A venda de t\u00edtulos \u00e9 uma das formas que o governo tem de captar recursos para pagar d\u00edvidas e honrar compromissos.
